Deanna Haami
Introducing
Deanna is a Senior Tutor and PhD Candidate affiliated with the Centre for Indigenous Psychologies (CIP) at Massey University. Her PhD research focused on exploring the origins of intergenerational trauma within her whānau and whakapapa with the aim to attain intergenerational healing.
Her main area of research interest is wairua (referring to the spiritual dimension), including understanding the role of wairua in healing as well as privileging wairua within the research process.
